And Alan and John I appreciate your comments. The down side of a print medium as substitute for conversation is the lack of nuance. The first Guest may have just been having fun at my expense and I am too dense to notice.

I could just wait until the next open mic where one of these kids will be playing and get a lesson. But I'm always an axious type and "I want to know now!"
