Roberts has never been a Justice, and now he's Chief among experienced Justices.

The new nominee has never been a judge of any sort.

So based on this, I guess it will all work out OK. I mean, Dubyer'd never been pres before or had a brain before, and look how well he's been doing. Gotta admire his "Hire the Handicapped" record, eh?
