The trouble with Document reissues is the wide variation in sound quality. I doubt that you could find better restoration than that done by John R.T. Davies. Although he specialises in jazz reissues, he has done quite a few pre-war blues, including the Memphis Jug Band ones and the great Sleepy John Estes 'First Recordings' on JSP.
