Impress upon her that she will never--NEVER--change size. She will always be PERFECT HUGGING SIZE. She will never outgrow that condition. It worked for me. My 3 always permitted me to hug them, even in early 'teens in public. I tried to limit it, remembering how uncool it was....They appreciate it now, as adults with their own kids.
