In the early 1970s, during the gas crisis, EPA decided to promote the national speed limit with clever bumperstickers

They were put out on display at EPA headquarters in Wash DC, where I was working on a temporary assignment, and I manage to get 3 of them (and one other that said "The Faster You Go, the Richer They Get!")

Someone with sense took one look and within 2 days, they were all withdrawn and, I suppose destroyed.....gee...maybe it's time I put one on my big van!
