Okay, I will admit it... GO LEAFS!

I loved the game on last night, except for the final score. The "new" NHL will be a game of the players, not a game of coaching tactics (see: Neutral Zone Trap). Not crazy about the shootout, it almost seems anti-climatic after all of the excitement of the dying minutes, and then the OT (as seen in the Leafs-Sens game last night).

As for Sid the Kid, I have seen him play in the junior ranks over the last couple of years.. he'z got skillz. Too much hype? Maybe. Is he what the game needs now? Yep - young, photogenic, excellent with the media, mature, and skilled. The new ambassador for the game.

Oh, and I loved that every team played last night. I think they should do that every season!
