Personally, I think all of this religiosity suits big business just fine. It's a buffer between what is actually happening in the U.S. between business and government, a smoke screen, as it were. I'm not going out into the lunatic fringe when I suggest that Bush is a handmaiden of big business, who despite the plea for a trained workforce, still want to keep them as stupid as possible. (This is in a very permeable nutshell in which I have encapsulated this idea, but I have some other stuff to do this morning, so will expand on the topic later if anyone is interested).
