Size is a relative thing. A tall, well-built woman in a 12 or a 14 (US size) isn't necessarily overweight. Frame size has a lot to do with it too.

I believe women of any size can dress in flattering clothes; and what's flattering on one is not necessarily flattering on the other. That being said, though, it's true that most retailers aren't too savvy when it comes to clothes for plus-sized women. That's unfortunate, because they want to look good too.

As far as jeans go, nowadays they all pretty much look like they've been run over by a truck. I prefer jeans that aren't all beat up when I buy them, but there aren't too many choices.

Anyhow, I'm over 30. I have a pair of hip-huggers. I don't spill out over the top. :-P
