I sure was. I played the Purlpe Union with Willy Jon and The Wildcats. Also played the Myna Bird and El Patio. What a great time that all was! Elmer Fudd stated he has a friend...Detty Piekert. I remember Detty. He was the Guitar Player in CAT and I was the Organist in Cat. Would like to hook up with Detty if possible.
