At the moment I'm thinking of going to some or all of these depending on time etc:

Ring O' Bells in Warrington on the Sunday
Wigan either Tuesday or Thursday (or both) (I'd already had it in my mind to come last time I was over when I found the site and all your very comprehensive information, Joan)
Railway at Heatley also at some point

Fleetwood is a tempt but we will see. It's about 50 odd miles.

Thanks for the link, Mr Happy, most useful. Chester is about 39 miles from where I am so it may be a bit far but the lists were useful. We'll see.

So just Monday, Friday and Saturday to find recommendations for!!

The lists and links are really good but there is something about a prsonal recommendation that is somehow better and conveys so much more.
