I've reached the point where I check out each and every thing that tells me to "pass it on."

Chain messages ("Send this within 20 minutes to everyone Earth or your gonads will turn purple and all your skin will fall off") I ignore.

And somehow I can't believe that I'll be eternally damned if I don't tell everyone in my address book that Jesus loves them unless they are French, gay, Republican, female, a banjo player, a liberal, and so on.

Sometimes I'll take the time to check Snopes or one of the virus encyclopedias and then gently tell the person who sent me the message of their error.

But mostly I'll just delete it.
