Garg, Dick's work (as opposed to MC conversions and midi efforts here) is actually in Songwrite. I've got a copy here that will give the tunes that way but it (SW) is a dated proprietry format.

To post here, I'd guess an abc is as good as anything. I think it is much better than a MIDI and a MIDI can be made frome one a lot more reliably than making an abc into a midi.

The only difficulty I know of whith an abc for posting to sites is it can contain the short hand dotted notation, eg. < and that can cause problems.
