- multi effects, not a whole array of single-use, dedicated pedals. - make sure it's got a tuner with a mute switch - make sure it's programmable, so that you can make the individual elements more or less subtle - make sure it has some sort of feedback supression. - oh, and it might be a good idea to have it optionally mains/battery powered.
