I think people like billy ray, garth brooks, and any of these other pop stars looking to take your honest buck to pay for their bright lights and smoke and lazers at their shows discrace the title "Country". You need to find the roots because that's what holds the tree. smoke a joint or drink a beer and lay down some Hank Williams Sr., or Monroe Brothers, Or Lilly Brothers, or Carter family,or Dock boggs. You can even get up into Norman blake or Dock Watson, or some of these others today who know their roots and what the music is. Sorry if I come off as mean but it's the honest truth.
