winters coming, watcha know
Elves are trudging through frost and snow
To reach old Santa's place

They are bending elfen backs
They are filling goody sacks
toys and chocolate, paperbacks
to spread their Christmas cheer

But what to send our MMario boy
Would he like a ppainted toy?
What kind of chchocolate does he enjoy?
or is he on a diet?

Does he know where Santa lives,
can he read the signs he gives
will he like the gift his nibs
the rantin' boy has chosen

Do you like Bourbon or Scotch Whisky
A cup of coffee or a cup of tea
when long days end has come

Shall I send you a wally dug
a wee gold ring tae hang fae yer lug
a souveneir fae a sailing tug
like my granda used to pilot

or would these things all be nae good
cos you're a sophisticated city dude
perhaps a picture of of me in the nude
just to keep it personal
