How do you ask a Jewish person to "just ignore" speech which is deliberately meant to threaten his welfare, even his life, and that of his loved ones?

Hell, I get lambasted with speech intended to threaten my welfare and that of my loved ones everytime I turn the damn TV on.

Fortunately I have a mute button.
