Well it was my first Getaway (can't believe I missed all the others being relatively close in Richmond, only 4 hours away)and although Monday was spent in a daze at work (my friend Maria and I drove back to Richmond after the concert) I was, and still am, feeling the glow of being around such lovely people and so much wonderful music! Favorite moments - too many to count, although Saturday night's concert has to be among them. I guess what I really enjoyed was meeting so many Mudcatters - too many to list but they were all so nice. On the way back we listened to the CD's we'd acquired both from Mudcatters (I'm afraid I'll wear George "El Grecko"s CD out very soon) and also the stash of great stuff we bought from Dick at Camsco. I'm all fired up and still under the spell of the songs, laughter and cameraderie. Will post more later - but I want to thank the folks at FSGW for putting on such a first class event.
