I have learned a lot about the people who populate this site, that I'm not the only person of a"certain age" who was a part of the great folk scare in the 60's and70's, and wants to learn more.
It's also helped me put my life in perspective, giving me the impetus to do what I want, not what is expected of me.
Oh, yes, it's also highlighted the cultural differences amongst us. Yes, us Brits tend not to be as affectionate or demonstrative as our American cousins.
