Charmion, you and Edmund are a real treasure. I just love seeing that smile of yours each year, and I always look forward to a special little something from Edmund. The Oatmeal stuff was damn fine. But not for the faint of heart.

I just want to tell you one thing, m'dear. You have not been exactly truthful here. You said you got through without mistakes. I caught a rough spot. But what impressed me was that it was about one or two notes, you caught it, never hesitated, and played through like a pro. I made a comment to Giok MacKenzie that that was a pro moment. I think you should worry less about "coming out" and just play for folks. I have been fortunate to have played in the company of some very accomplished pro's. None of them play without mistakes. But none of them handled it better than you did. Someone who isn't a pro would have froze or hesitated. You never did. You are there, my friend. Time for you to start playing out.
