Virtually every report I hear from US areas prone to Hurricanes has me thinking the same thing every time:

"Why are you lot so totally incapable of building in brick or concrete? The Romans did it, so it's not exactly revolutionary technology, but clearly it's too much for you! Or do you secretly like living in things that are almost designed to be vunerable to the wind?"


The rant does continue, but you get the idea. People making the same incredibly stupid mistakes repeatedly annoys me....
