In a 2 room apt I've got 2 bicycles and 3 instruments attached to the walls. The bikes are mounted with flowerpot hangers available in the garden section of Home Depot. They(the bikes) are parallel with the ceiling. The guitar, mandola and mandolin are mounted with finished squares of treated wood and 'garden tool' 'U' shaped hangers. The hangers have a plastic coating. I think I've got about $25.00 in all of them. Saw some hangers at a music store and thought I could make something similar and cheaper. The instruments are on an interior wall and have been there for 3 years other than when they're being played.
