The food was not good for the main part and the accomodations could have been better.
However, the magic of the Getaway made those things of minimal consequence. I was so busy enjoying the people and the music that the rest of it became immaterial. I just survived on Bruce's ginger and copious amounts of booze and didn't bother with sleeping too much.
I think, with an event like this, you get out of it what you put in and most of the attendees seemed to be having one hell of a good time.
For myself I would be quite happy to volunteer to help in the kitchens if we went self-catering. Communal cooking can be great fun.
