Thread Name: happy? - Oct 21 (21st. of Oct.)
Subject: happy? - Oct 21 (21st. of Oct.)
         On the twenty-first day of October to this country I first came,
        On a British brig from Baltimore, the Poregram by name;
        We were consigned to Harvey's wharf our cargo there to land,
        Which causes me bitterly to regret my first voyage to Newfoundland.

                "The Prison of Newfoundland," in Genevieve Lehr, Come and I Will Sing You:
                A NEWFOUNDLAND SONGBOOK
, U of Toronto Press, 1985

Well yeah, but:
Sure, there was that Nelson at Trafalgar business today and sure, there's 5,000 songs about it but the Happy File has a certain commitment to the original challenge of songs naming each day of the year. Have to use them sometimes. That's the really important thing, right?
