The Helen Schneyer workshop featured a lot of people singing the songs she gave us. I did "Fountain Filled with Blood"--and it felt like I was channelling Helen while I was singing it. I also remember having a blast singing complementary bass lines with Tom Tucker on "Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning." Dan Schatz did another one of her miners songs Helen's hideobilia was not forgotten--Nancy King sang "The Nurse Pinched the Baby." Afterward, I was able to tell her about Dr. Diocletian Lewis ("dear old Doctor Di-o:').
