Kind of 'I don't know and I don't care', I guess. There's got to be a better answer than that. We have to find it. (I realize that speaks more of ignorance than of stupidity- but only on the surface. Ignoring our problems and the future we are creating is STOOPID.)

Question: When the various empires of history over-shot their peak and started free falling down the other side, do you suppose there were people crying out in alarm? Did history record such warnings?
