I guess you know that the reason for bluegrass and racehorses here in Kentucky is the limestone rocks. They say that's also the reason for good Bourbon and the paint industry which developed around Louisville in central Kentucky. There is a saying that we are the "Land of fast horses and beautiful women." Locally we say the "Land of beautiful horses and fast women." ;-) If that doesn't translate into German very well, get some help on the translation.
