As with other seminal musicians, many folk have a story about him. I'm lucky to have two. My favorite was the first time I saw him. He played Child-With-Harmonica in Finian's Rainbow in 1947. Eleven years later I heard him on record playing blues and easily recognized the sound. There was no one else like him.
