Back in the 70's I once saw a male duo (can't remeber who) at the DVLC folk club (yes that DVLC at Swansea) who sang a song about keeping a zoo in a terraced house.
I can remember one line about the lady next door who - "wants to know why she's got gerbils when the rest of the street have got mice".
Anyone got any clues as to what the song was?
