For your friends at Berklee there is the Boston Folk Song Society. The Boston Globe on Thrusday puts out a great list in there calander section of folk venues. There's a sea shanty session in Portsmouth NH on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the Press Room & a regular singing session every Fri eve(45 minutes north). A friend may still be running a sea shanty session across the river at MIT, google her name, Lynn Noel & you'll probably fine out more info about it & feel free to Post Message (PM) me through this site for more info. Say hi to Ken & the rest at South St Seaport. I expect I'll probably be seeing you at the Mystic Sea Music Festival next yr (it's to die for festival for lovers of sea music) if you're already running the rigging with that group. Good Luck.
