ahh...thanks, John! I knew there ought to be some big ones online, I just didn't look long.

I have had the large books of Inferno and Purgatory/Paradise with Doré illustrations since about 1957 (not in A-1 condition, but I was a poor student)

I went into an old bookstore (Drawver's, on West Douglas, if you have been in Wichita that long...now Al's) in the early 60s, and old Mr. Drawver had this BIG book in a glass case...maybe 12" x15" by 5" thick, of the complete Doré etchings. I sort of pointed at it, just to say "wow, that's impressive", but before I could open my mouth, he said "That one's MINE!" *grin* I think it was the only thing in the store that was NOT for sale!
