Rest in peace, Dave, and give the heavenly folk club a boost! I'm glad I met you (and heard you sing) for the first and only time at Hull Mudgathering last year. At Stansted, actually, because you and Linda were so kind as to give Wolfgang and me a lift up to Hull. A most entertaining drive! I'd have loved to meet you again, but it wasn't meant to be. I hope your death saved you a lot of suffering, and my thoughts are with Linda and all who were close to you.
