... just as, at church events, we try to remember we have a LOT of diabetics in our community, so the dessert table always includes some fruit. And just as, being a church hosting several AA groups, we don't make alcohol the focus of events at the church. Yeah, people are responsible for themselves-- but it's nice to be thinking about what might be appreciated, if one is trying to be hospitable to one and all.
