I wonder if they ressurected the neighbourhood witch again? She spent a week about 15 feet up, face forward, wrapped around a telephone pole with just the end of her broom sticking out . It was one of the better Halloween sight gags around here.

So sad. No wee trick or treaters here this year. Every year the number has dwindled as the neighbourhood kids have grown up and this was the first time in many years, that I didn't even carve a pumpkin. I am definitely becoming a boring old fart ....and I don't like it.
