Reminds me of a story from a few years back.

A fiddler buddy of mine was expecting a box of his first CDs, 1,000 of them. But he lived a ways out of town so he asked another friend of ours living in town who was home during the day to receive shipment of the recordings for him.

I popped over there on lunch break and we opened the box up (with permission) to listen to one, just as his father called on the phone.

"Hey, it's too bad you don't have a CD player", he said to his Dad. "I just took delivery of a thousand brand new CDs over here."

"Aw, you friggin' dummy!" his father scolded him. "I told you not to join that gee dee Columbia House. It's a big rip-off!"
