My original post to inform people about Damien Barber's forthcoming appearance at Kiveton Park Folk Club on the 8th Nov. has, it appears been hijacked by an anonymous contributor who appears to have some personal axe to grind about Damien! Now, I have NO KNOWLEDGE of Damiens pugilistic abilities, or indeed his aptitude for thuggery, as implied in the second posting BUT, is this forum the place to make slanderous remarks about folk performers,(other than on their performances?) I have come across numerous folk performers in my time who's attitudes and behaviour have not endeared me to them, but would not dream of slagging them off through these channels. Lets keep it clean please.
