The Rev. Jim Wallis, author of God's Politics : Why the Right Gets It Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It, said that in a meeting he was attending, everyone was sitting around bewailing how the country had gone wrong and how powerless they all felt. One person said, "We just don't have any strong leaders like Martin Luther King anymore. What we need is someone like him." At which point, a young black woman stood up and blew her stack at the whole group. She ended her heated comments by saying, "YOU are the leaders you are waiting for! Don't just sit there and whine! Get busy!"

You can't just sit around and "let George do it." George is doing it. That's what's wrong.
