I've begun my annual tradition of re-reading my collection of Dick Francis books, beginning with 'To The Hilt.' I've just run across the term 'Hooray Henry,' which he uses to describe the husband of an overpowering, bossy wife. Can one of the 'Catters there across the Atlantic clarify this phrase for me? Here's the relevant quote from the book:
'. . . and in the weak, good-looking Hooray-Henry (she) had chosen a mate she could indoctrinate.'
Thanks in advance, Áine
