On the other hand, when Pancho has more guns than Cisco, Pancho don' care what Cisco thinks! What Cisco must then do is round up enough other people who are also mad at Pancho and willing to do something about it. A posse. Presently Pancho finds out that he doesn't have quite enough guns to deal with the situation that his bad attitude has created.

That's what happened to Adolf Hitler, back around late '41. There is a point where one's own propensity to international terrorism can get one into a whole lot of trouble.

Given the fact that the USA is already so tied down in Iraq and Afghanistan that their military is becoming badly strained, their position is becoming rather vulnerable in the strategic sense and in the financial sense. Those factors will, I think, lead to the eventual failure of their aggressive foreign policy...as happened in Vietnam. It'll be a different course of events in many ways, but this so-called "War on Terrorism", like the "War on Drugs" or the "War on Poverty" will prove to be a failure.

The British colonial effort in Iraq before WWII also failed, despite the fact that the British could kill at least 100 Iraqis for every British soldier lost. The Americans lost 57,000 men in return for about 3 million dead Asians. In the end, it's usually the locals who win, not the foreign invaders...unless what is occuring is not mere colonialism...but massive immigration into new lands (as occurred over a 400 year period when the Europeans took over North America and destroyed the Native American societies in so doing).

Well, I don't think 20 or 30 million Americans are going to emigrate to Iraq and Afghanistan. LOL! Not going to happen. Accordingly, the American military occupation of those lands will fail. I expect it will fail within 5 years or less.
