I have to admit to not being a great fan of the "later" Dylan but appreciating the "earlier" Dylan.   That said, I am now reconsidering my thoughts on that after seeing the note by #6 quoting his Tom Paine award speech.   If the quote is accurate---I suppose we should ask him to leave the stage now. He wants all those old, bald headed people to do the same---and does not want them governing him---yet they were young and, perhaps, have some experience. Perhaps are corrupt and perhaps are honest and idealistic---just like the "young".

Would that his Royal Bobdom had the intellect and sincerity of Tom Paine.
