Firstborn of Queen Victoria and her Albert

                  O slumber my darling
                  While I sing thee a sermon
                  Thy mother's a Guelph
                  And thy father's a German.
                  The hills and the dales
                  And John Bull's money,
                  All shall belong
                  My dear darling to thee
  
  The royal brood expanded rapidly - Vicky was the first of nine! By the
  late 1840's this little ditty was making the rounds of music halls:
  
                  V und A so boldly did say
                  The State is bewildering about little children
                  And we are increasing; you know we have four...
                  So Albert, dear Albert, we'll do it no more!

Vicky married a Prussian prince and was the mother of Kaiser Wilhelm of WW I fame. Thereby spawning lots and lots of songs. [Thanx Ada Prill]
