I was born and raised in Atlantic City New Jersey, long the site of the Miss America pageant, and the site of the contentious 1964 [USA] Democratic Convention.

Of course, there's the Drifter's R&B 1964 song "Under The Boardwalk"
[Yeah I know, the lyrics are "down by the sea" but I think that's because "ocean" is harder to rhyme-LOL!
