I personally think the French have the best idea with regard to Christmas cards. They send only to those friends/family who they are not going to see over the Christmas period. We silly Brits send no end of cards to friends/family/next doors dog/ every living thing that has crossed our path since the year dot! How stupid are we?
I cut down my Christmas card list every year and end up sending last minute ones because I have received cards from people I didn't expect them from, or long forgotten acquaintances suddenly decide to send and you feel obliged to return the 'spirit of Christmas'. So the next year my list is still around the same length.
Aghhh well.....get into the Spirit of the thing. We are after all celebrating the birth of Jesus....
