Okay, heres how its going: - The dry cloth confirmed that it was covered in something black and sticky (no news there), and so with some trepidation I tried the damp cloth - Its a tuneable skin so I just slackened it off totaly before I did it. The cloth was black by the time Id finished, the drum isn't clean but its a damn sight cleanER than it was, and I didn't fancy leaving getting it too damp and scrubbing at it till it was clean, so Im settling for small successes. Im going to wait till it drys, play it a few times and then go back for round two with the unknown filth!
