How do we manage without tights in the winter?

It's only really your knees that are exposed. Thick, woolen kilt hose, and 8 yards of very thick woolen cloth keep you plenty warm enough. It's a much warmer getup than tights, according to various women. Unfortunatly, we can't take them off in the summer!

Plus, not being stupid enough to just stand about in the cold helps. One of the Highland dances, the Reel of Tulloch was supposedly written when the minister was late for Kirk ( church ), and the people standing around started dancing to keep warm. It works, as it's a very tiring dance. Fun though.

I don't understand utilikilts. Kilts have a pocket, it's called a sporran. if you really can't do without the phone, multitool, etc do the sensible thing and put them on a belt, where they won't spoil the lines of thr kilt.
