Yeah, what Jeanie said about being "electronically tagged" all day. I was thinking the same thing as I read this entire thing. When she left a message that said "You never answer your phone. If you don't call me back within twenty minutes I'm not going out with you tomorrow," I finally realized this was proto-stalker behavior. And yes, she had been cheated on. Perhaps a lot. In a strange and twisted way, it keeps reminding you of cheating as an option, and I'll bet it's self-fulfilling.
