most computers have a line-in and you can do the lp-to-cd that way
since my computer is nowhere near my stereo and lp player, I just
use an Iriver MP3 playerfp750, which has a line-in as well as a mic, setting (about $100Can) and plug that into the headphone jack on my stereo and record. I can then just burn the mp3s on cd..
