The last episode was just about perfect, as far as final shows go. Iris Dement singing "Our Town" was a perfect choice for background music as they showed everyone wrapping things up. And even though they were all fictional, it was comforting to know that Chris and Maggie, Ruth Ann and Walt, Maurice and the State Trooper were finally matched up and happy, and I could rest easy that night knowing that everything was well with them all.

Considering how old people are conceived by Hollywood, as buffoonish or oversexed, it was nice to see them portrayed as just regular folks for a change.
