A long time ago I had a fever of 104. I hallucinated and ended up in the hospital -- the only way to break the fever was an IV drip. I remember waking up feeling pretty good; they took the needle out and after the nurses, etc. left I decided to get out of bed and get my clothes. They were on a chair about three feet away. I didn't make it, I barely had strength to crawl back up into bed from floor I collapsed on.
