Way back a few months ago when the 'cat was having enough troubles to make me a bit paranoid, I surfed up a couple of other "highly recommended centers of social and intellectual interaction" and bookmarked them.

I'll admit - if no one tells on me - that I've watched them since, waiting to see if anything invited my participation.

One site claims over 60,000 posts since I started observing - - - and nobody's said anything yet ... ... ... .

It's a vast, empty, and very sterile world out there...
