It's the 102nd post. And in a thread that has certainly touched the hearts of many, I don't want to strike a discordant note, so I hasten to say that this post is not a joke. No, this is a serious post, expressing my deep concern on behalf of a man who can only be described as...a great man. I am speaking of Pat Patterson, aka "Spaw", a veritable icon on this forum that has been so kind to me. Now it's true that we have had our differences. Pat has said some uncharitable things about me in the past, but none of that matters now. After all, "it's an ill wind that blows no one good", to quote an old phrase. All is forgiven and forgotten in times of trouble. I am prepared to abandon my busy schedule and make an emergency visit to Pat to cheer him up. In fact, I'm eager to do it. I'm longing to. Just say the word.
